Once again, the weather will decide
By Bob Burbach
Marysville CA - June 2, 2011 --- With one eye on the radar and another on track conditions, promoter Paul Hawes, once again, will have to rely on Mother Nature to reverse an all too familiar trend this season for H & H Trenching night to go off as scheduled at MRP. Spectacular weather roared through the area on Wednesday bringing torrential downpours and even a tornado to an area adjacent to the raceway. The raceway was not damaged.

The H & H Trenching all star program is scheduled to feature the Performance Auto Supply Winged Sprint Cars, the MRP Wingless Sprint Cars, the MRP Super Stocks, Mini Stocks and Pro 4s.

The Saturday forecast is not a good one at this writing. When promoter Hawes makes a decision, MRP will promptly make all media aware of the status, including our facebook page. The ambitious 5-division program will need an appropriate window of opportunity in the weather to make presenting the show, in its entirety, feasible.

Please monitor race media for updates.

IMPORTANT: 2011 minor releases must be signed by parents for all minors entering the pits. Concessions will be available. All classes of racecar are invited to participate.
