September 29, 2013 ---Auburn’s Ray Trimble and
Marysville’s Shaun Merritt secured their respective
titles this weekend at Paul and Kathy Hawes Marysville
Raceway Park. The MRP fendered finals were held in
conjunction with the annual West Coast Dwarf Car
Nationals won by the bay area’s Cameron Diatte. For

The MRP Mini Stock clash Friday night was another easy
cruise for Misty Castleberry as she led every lap.
Merritt secured the title by starting the feature. No
other driver could challenge his season-long point
accumulation after the green flag flew. Merritt has
really been in control since race 3 of the series,
though local racing veteran Howard Law stayed close.
Law finished 2nd on Friday with Merritt an easy 3rd.

the MRP Super Stock feature on Saturday, also secured
